Privacy Policy

This policy covers all apps published by 30 South LLC ("we", "us", "our"). We take your privacy seriously and want to be upfront about what data we collect and how we use it.

The short version: we don't sell your data. Ever.

What We Do With Data (mostly nothing)

Location data. Location data is only used on device. We don't send it anywhere ever. Our fitness tracking apps (Vima Run, Vima Walk, Vima Bike, Vima Hike) use GPS/location data only during active tracking. This only happens when you start a workout. We don't track your location when you're not using the app.

Health & fitness metrics. With your permission, we read and write data to Apple HealthKit, including calories burned, steps, heart rate, distance, and workout records. This data stays on your device and in Apple Health.

Workout history. Your workout data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud to your other devices. We don't have access to your iCloud data.

Recipe data. Vima Recipes stores your saved recipes locally on your device and optionally syncs to our servers if you want them on other devices.

Food photos (AI Calorie Tracker). When you use AI Calorie Tracker, food photos are sent to our ai llm for calorie estimation. Photos are processed in real time and are not stored. We don't use your photos for any purpose other than providing calorie estimates.

Apple HealthKit

We integrate with Apple HealthKit to read and write health and fitness data with your explicit permission. HealthKit data is never shared with third parties, used for advertising, or sold. Period. This is in full compliance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines.

Analytics

We use Amplitude for product analytics in our apps to understand how features are used and where we can improve. We use Google Analytics on our website. No personally identifiable information is shared with these services. We're looking at aggregate patterns, not individual behavior.

Advertising

We do not show ads in any of our apps. We use Apple Search Ads to help people discover our apps on the App Store. No user data is shared with Apple for this purpose.

Third-party services

We work with a small number of trusted third parties:

• Apple for payments, iCloud sync, and App Store distribution
• RevenueCat for subscription management. RevenueCat processes transaction data but does not have access to your health or fitness data.
• Amplitude for anonymous product analytics

Data storage

Your workout data, recipes, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, data is synced through Apple's iCloud infrastructure, or in the case of Vima Recipes on our servers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll note the new effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
